About Prosperity Diamonds

In 2024, founder Heather Ingraham visited Sierra Leone with the Rapaport Group Trade Mission and was deeply touched by the trip. During the tour, several local business leaders impressed on her the need to provide avenues to help the people of Sierra Leone help themselves and this led to the formation of Prosperity Diamonds.

From 1991-2002, diamonds helped fund conflict and human atrocities during Sierra’s Civil War. 

“I feel strongly that the jewelry industry is indebted to the people of Sierra Leone, and we share a responsibility to help the next generation rise above their circumstances of living in the second poorest country in the world. Today, Sierra Leone is a peaceful country with citizens who want the opportunity to make a better life for themselves.”
